May 2003 News 26 May 2003 At long last the votes in the consettafc.com Poll Vote for 2002/03 have been counted and I can exclusively reveal that the Northern League ground that does the best scran is .... Whitley Bay!!. There was some other stuff about Player of the Year and Goal of the Season and what have you, so to see the results in full CLICK HERE. 18 May 2003 Consett AFC held their annual Presentation Evening at Belle Vue last night, with the awards being distributed as follows: Player of the Year -

Highlight of the evening though was definitely the presentation speech by club secretary Ian Hamilton. Delivered partially in Anglo-Saxon, it was certainly one you'd be unlikely to hear at the BAFTAs and had the small but appreciative audience in stitches! Don't forget it's still not too late to vote for your player of the season in the consettafc.com poll.
